Maxim Deweerdt

Maxim is the global head of Solution Engineering at NVISO's Managed Services and a Principal Instructor at the SANS Institute. He has over 12 years of experience in cyber defense and extensive knowledge in Incident Response and SOC/Fusion Center Operations.

At the SANS institute, Maxim teaches the SEC511 and LDR551 courses on continuous monitoring, security operations and cyber security management to students world-wide. He is passionate about sharing his insights and best practices with the cyber defense community and fostering the next generation of cyber defenders.
