Olaf Frank

Olaf is an experienced leader in the field of corporate IT. His focus has been with the insurance and reinsurance industry. Currently he is responsible for the Business Technology Function at Munich Re which is part of Global IT. Olaf has a strong background in transforming IT organizations and processes in an international context. He has helped in transforming Munich Re’s IT organization into an international service setup and is an expert in transitioning IT organizations to agile methodologies in combination with outsourcing/offshoring of IT delivery.

In the context of digitalization of re/insurance business models Olaf works on strategies to develop agile IT into a core competency of Munich Re and to fully leverage new IT paradigms like cloud, advanced analytics/AI, and mobile for business innovation.
